Mr. Riddle graduated Summa Cum Laude 1992, 1990 and 1982 from State Technical Institute of Knoxville/Pellissippi State Technical Community College. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and Tau Alpha Pi Engineering Technology National Honor Society (currently serving as Primary Advisor).  Degrees awarded: Associates of Science/Mechanical Engineering Technologies (MET), 1982; Associates of Applied Science/MET/Manufacturing Option, 1990; Associates of Applied Science/MET/Quality Assurance Option, 1992. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Education & Training from the University of Tennessee in 1998. Mr. Riddle completed his Masters' of Science in Engineering Technology at East Tennessee State University in 2004.

Mr. Riddle is a Senior Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and Certified Manufacturing Technologist. He is an active member in the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). In addition, he teaches as an adjunct instructor for the East Tennessee State University's 2+2 program at PSTCC.

Mr. Riddle was hired in 1989 as Mechanical Engineering Laboratory Technician and in August 2000 as full-time faculty. He has been an Adjunct Instructor at Pellissippi from 1983-2000. He has served as an Industrial Trainer Instructor ffor the Business & Community Services department from 1989 to present. He was employed by W.J. Savage & Co. from 1982-1989 as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Mr. Riddle served with the U.S. Navy from 1971-1975.
