Aid Refund/Disbursement Release Dates

Excess financial aid is released after your Pellissippi bill has been paid in full (tuition, fees, bookstore charges, or any other current semester charges). Aid will be paid based on your attendance reported in each class.

Things To Remember...

• Remember that your financial aid amount is based on the number of hours which you are reported attending. If you are in a fast track course (ex: course that begins later in the semester), the amount of your financial aid will be reduced until attendance is reported in these courses.
• Summer 2013: If you register for a fast track course after Sunday, June 9, financial aid will not be available for your use.
• Fall 2013: If you register for a fast track course after Thursday, September 5, financial aid will not be available for your use.

Loan Disbursement/Refund Information

Loan money does not disburse until you have six hours of attendance reported. If you do not have six hours of attendance until second session classes begin, your funds will not disburse on the dates listed below. AFTER six hours of attendance is reported, your funds will disburse shortly thereafter.

Disbursement #1: Friday, June 14
Disbursement #2: Wednesday, June 26
Your excess loan money (after your PSCC bill has been paid in full) will be split into two separate disbursements. You will not receive a loan refund/disbursement until your tuition is paid in full.

Disbursement Date (First Time Loan Borrower ONLY): Wednesday, June 26

HOW will I get my refund/disbursement?

• If you have signed up for electronic deposit your excess aid will be released directly to your banking account. Electronic refunds will be processed first. Click here for instructions to setup electronic deposit.
• If you have not signed up for electronic deposit your excess aid will be mailed to you in a check. The check will be mailed to your address on file. Click here for instructions to update your mailing address.
