Trio San Rafael perform for Hispanic-Latino Month
Trio San Rafael is bringing its Latino—rock sound to Pellissippi State, and the public is invited to share in the entertainment. The Nashville—based group will kick off the school year and help the College celebrate National Hispanic—Latino Month at the same time. Trio San Rafael will perform two concerts September 18.

Directory Assistance charge goes up
Pellissippi State has been notified that the charge for calling Directory Assistance is increasing significantly. The charge has been 29 cents per call, but starting September 16, the charge will be $1.99. (more)
Singer-songwriter Lea to give two performances at Pellissippi State
Washington, D.C.–based singer-songwriter Lea is coming to two of the campuses in October. Lea has attracted national attention with her blend of urban folk, rock, jazz and blues. She was nominated “Best Female Vocalist” and “Best New Artist” by the Washington Area Musician’s Association. (more)
