Pellissippi State is accreditated by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097, (404) 679-4501, to award Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees.

2009 Fall
- Solicit input on QEP topic selection from entire college community: faculty, staff, students, advisory groups, other community members
- QEP sub-committees begin research on broad topics of concern
- Make Compliance Report research & writing assignments
2010 Spring
- Attend SACS Orientation - January 25
- Continue to solicit input for QEP
- QEP committee groups research topics & prepare position papers - due March 17
- Present list of potential topics for QEP & solicit input from faculty/staff/students
- Begin work on compliance report
- Submit Substantive Change prospectus for Nursing Program - March 31
2010 Summer
- Finalize topic selection for QEP
- Determine members of QEP Implementation Committee
- Plan fall in-service activities relating to assessment & QEP planning
- QEP Implementation Committee members attend SACS Summer Institute (July)
- Compliance Report drafts - due July 1
2010 Fall
- Announce QEP; begin planning implementation, including professional development
- Select QEP evaluator
- Revise Compliance Report
2011 Spring
- Submit Compliance Report - March 15
- Continue planning for implementation of QEP
- Off-site review conducted - May 10-13
2011 Summer
- Prepare Focused Report in response to off-site review
- Submit QEP Plan & Focused Report - August 16 (6 weeks before on-site review)
2011 Fall
- Begin implementation of QEP (pilot?) and/or continue professional development
- On-site Review - September 27-29
2012 Spring
- Prepare response to On-Site Review report (if necessary) - submit by February 29
2012 Summer
- Review by Commission on Colleges - June 19-21
